Calcutta Medical Center inks deal with TE Asia Healthcare Partners for cancer center

Mount Grace Hospital Inc. and Mother Teresa of Calcutta Medical Center(MTCMC) have signed an agreement with Singapore firm TE Asia Healthcare Partners to build a cancer center facility in San Fernando Pampanga, the first of its kind outside of Metro Manila.

Envisioned as a facility that can offer various cancer treatments from chemotherapy, radio therapy, and surgery, the Singapore firm also commits to provide the center with the latest diagnostic imaging and state of the art equipment.

For MTCMC Chief Operating Officer Rhais Gamboa, this is an opportunity to bring a world class cancer center to Central Luzon, which is in line with the Mount Grace vision to make affordable health and medical services to more accessible locations. MCTMC's own investment in improved services along with this new partnership will mean being able to provide more services for patients both in Pampanga and in nearby provinces.

TE Asia Healthcare Partners also maintain partnerships in Hong Kong, Vietnam and Indonesia. The Pampanga facility is expected to open in July 2018.
